Abstract
We developed this study in order to support the creative activity, but also to support the need to reward the creators of the ”beauty” in our lives. Through this study, we want to emphasize both the importance of the remuneration due to creators, but also the importance of the permanent adjustment of its amount.We analyzed some aspects that we consider important, bringing some explanations regarding the equitable unique remuneration, the remuneration due by cable distributors, the equitable remuneration for the loan or lease of the right, and, finally, the compensatory remuneration for private copy. Last but not least, we argued in favor of the necesity of rethinking the legislative framework regarding the private copy, because of the pressure generated by the digital factor and also because of the pressure caused by the global economic trends.
