Abstract
Moral copyright, more precisely the right to disclosure, paternity, name, integrity and withdrawal of the work, are perpetual rights, closely related to the person of the author, which offers them a special regime. However, moral rights are subject to a series of limitations and particularities in the case of certain types of works, one of the most interesting to analyze being the doctoral thesis. In the present material we will analyze how moral rights are affected, with their slightly rigid characters, in the case of a PhD thesis and to what extent can be classified as a work protected by Law no. 8/1996 regarding copyright.
