Abstract
An Adblocker works by removing any ad content when accessing and navigating a website. Such programs generate, on a global level, losses on the scale of billions of dollars for online advertising service providers. However, for a simple internet user, the benefits are solid. In this article we will discuss the (il)legality of using Adblocking programs and how they might infringe (or not) intellectual property rights of website owners.
